My Story

Hello, my name is Diego Valente, I came from Mexico 4 years ago, in 2021, and went straight to, in my opinion, the best high school in nevada, I went to hug hight school without knowing anything, without knowing the culture, the language or anyone. I always tried to do better and surpass myself everyt day, that let me to a lot of opportunities, honor and AP classes, important people, and what gave me motivation every day, running. I joined the track and cross country team, this helped me to stay focused throught high school and met knew people, I was also very competitive. at the end of my 4 years I accomplished a lot of things I would’ve never think about, like winning medals, races, recognitions, offers to go run to other states, I graduated with honors, and I also got scholarships, I was the first person in my family to graduate from high shool here in the United States.

And now I’m a first generation student in the college of Business at UNR, trying my best every day. I am also an Air Man, and I have more goals I plan to accomplish.

This website is a collections of modules and skills learned in IS 101 and how I’ve learned about information systems and websites that business integrate and how this subject is important. Furthermore it applies more now than ever as AI surfaces it’s importance to learn skills that help us adapt to a new generation of thecnology.

Personal Goals

Some personal goals I have are, to become a CPA and have my CPA firm, and to accomplish this I need to graduate college, work with a CPA to gain experience, and get all the licenses I need. 

I love running and I would like to compete in some college or amateur competitions, and get better and better because I want to go to olympics and run there, and a goal I have is to train the best way possible without skipping trainings and staying focus.
